Our History

Harris Financial Group, Inc. was founded by the late Terry W. Harris in 1978. With dedication to his clients, Terry grew his small business serving the local farming community into a successful company throughout the Texas Panhandle. Terry's vision for his company was to have a small business feel while continuing to deliver complex solutions for individuals and businesses. Exceptional client service continues to be a core value of Harris Financial Group, Inc.

Tragically, Terry and his son Miles were in a private plane crash in 2006. They were both severely burned and Terry was not able to recover from his injuries. Because of that life and death experience, we became passionate about helping others prepare for those changes that happen in a moment's time.

Miles has expanded his father's company to multiple locations serving all of North and West Texas. Terry would be proud of today's HFG and how well the team has continued his life's work. Harris Financial Group, Inc. works with families and business owners who want individual attention and guidance from their financial representatives; who are dedicated to helping them reach their financial goals.
